Hi, I know exactly how you feel about finding the right person. I almost got married but backed out because I was being too controlled. It is so hard to lean on God while waiting for a mate, but I know God has the right mate already picked out for you and for me. I will be praying for you especially about your losses.

I have been through alot this summer. My cousin died right before the summer and My father died July 17, 2004. I have been sad lately because it's only been a little over a month since my father passed away. He went to sleep in the lord, he was very church going. I am grateful for the way he raised me too. I miss him alot. I get lonely sometime. I know the lord will bless me with a companion one day. I wanted to be married in my twenties and now I'm approaching my thirties. I had a chance to be married almost a couple of times. It just didn't seem the right time.
The first guy i was going to marry wasn't really in the church or he didn't act like it and i didn't get treated right, I gave three years of my life to the relationship trying to work it out. the second was of a different religion and I admit that i loved him dearly but i think he wanted me to change my religion, which I am a Seventh Day Adventist. I still love him but I am trying to get through it. It's not easy. we worked on the same job for almost 2 years and then I got another job. I need prayer. I miss going to prayer service. I work alot of hours but I am thinking about cutting back on hours. I don't seem to have much time for God, Myself, and my cats too. That's why i didn't get registered for class this semester. Please pray for me, I feel like i'm under alot of stress.
