I am seeking prayer for one of Loveland's Police Public Information Officers, Wendy who has Leukemia. She has been under treatment for a few weeks. Our Chief of Police Tom asks, "If we pray, pray for Wendy."
Wendy is special in a lot of ways, as she is a caring person. I know that this is part of her job, but she cared enough to talk to me one night soon after I had fallen on a side street a few blocks from the pool here in Loveland. I broke my left rotator hook, and of course didn't make it to class.
At the time I was on a couple of committees for the city and one was the pedestrian committee. I had gone to the city council meeting about our streets and sidewalks. I found out that old stone sidewalks were still in code here.
Wendy came to that meeting and came and talked to me after the meeting and told me that if there was anything that they could do to help with my medical expenses from the fall to contact her. (She was the only one who did talk to me about what had happened.)
I did not need their help, as my P.T. went fine and I healed very quickly, but what Wendy is going through takes more than P.T. I will always be thankful for her kindness and I know that I will be praying for Wendy, that the Lord will bring health and renewal to this servant of our city. We need caring people in every area of our government, whether city, county, state or country. In fact the whole world.
I thank you for allowing me to tell you about a lady and servant who needs to get well and back to her job and now she needs the prayers of us as citizens of our country, no matter where we live. Please pray for this lovely Lady named Wendy. Thank you, --- blee.
