I quit my job once because the boss was impossible to deal with and I went without work for several weeks, but God did find me something.... For half the pay.
BUT! And this is a big BUT... previously I had been a computer application programmer, but this new job I was a web application programmer. I learned so much on that job in regard to web application development, that I was then hired by another company for even more money than the first job and learned even more in regard to web programming. In fact, I learned exactly the skills needed to program this website. So ultimately God answered my prayers that I could have a work-at-home situation, and then a self-employed situation, all because of accepting a job for half of my regular salary.
You never know what God has in store. Take heart, it's in HIS hands!

I understand how it feels to lose a job(s). When I first moved out on my own I lost a job and was unemployed for a month. Then I began working small jobs for very low pay. But the point is that God will and does provide. You are not alone. It is painful and can be a tough pill to swallow, so to speak, however, God will pull you through. Many people experience the same thing. And perhaps that does not offer the most consolation when you personally are going through this situation. However, I can relate, and the Holy Spirit will be with you to provide another means of employment.
This can be a period of adjustment and grief, but also a time of renewal and new opportunities. You will be in many prayers and God's care is with and upon you. Please do not ever give up or be disheartened. Grieve as you must but the Lord has plans for you. ~ Take care. ~

Very suddenly & un-expededly, I was terminated from a very good paying job I had been at for almost 9 years, last night. The devil is working overtime to discourage me, but I know that God never closes one door but he opens another one. Please pray that my faith in Jesus will continue to strengthen & I will trust Him completely to see me through this dark period.
