It's really serious.
Hi Nannette. Hope you are doing fine.
I did read the scam reports today, and times I wished to god I had taken this matter seriously. But now I have learnt my lesson.
before I joined this site, I was in in the other one called Friend-seekers.
I was conned in that the woman wrote to me and told me that she is one of the organisers of the youth conference which would be held in US and Italy. in that she would like me to participate and that i needed to form a group of 5-10 people. We were told to pay the Group registration Form fee to italy and then after we paid we were told each should pay 200euros. Since we could not afford the money, we told them. Then we needed to be refunded the Group registration fee, uto now they have not responded.
So my warning is, guys especially from the poor countries, dont accept this invitations blindfolded. First contact the embassy near you, so as to know the truth.
And lastly, another one contacted me with the same message, which now will be held in US and Guinnea Bissau next year February. So be careful with the one you communicate with. Thats why i love this site. No sending of e-mails and phone numbers until you have known each other.
