" the answer is that no place in the Bible forbids the use of essential oils and aroma therapy. No place in the Bible forbids yoga or owning guns either. The issue here is one common to many things is "how is it used?" Guns don't kill people, people kill people. It's not the gun that's bad, it is how it is used. Same with essential oils, aroma therapy, yoga, reflexology... etc. God made plants with healing and medicinal properties so that we could enjoy a high quality of life. Why then should we NOT use them? Essential oils are very effective for many things. For example... clove oil applied to a diseased tooth will eliminate the pain... and without narcotics, drowsiness, upset stomach, etc. Lavender will reduce stress and induce deep, healthy sleep. Sleep that is much better, rejuvinating, and benefical than drug induced sleep. Yoga strengthens the body and mind, allows one to focus and increases strength and flexibility. Guns are a very effective means of protection. (gun control means being able to hit what you're aiming at) Yet all these things can be used improperly. Aromatherapy can be used in conjunction with meditation which will facilitate opening one's self up to communication with spiritual enemies. Same with the MEDITATION aspect of yoga. It's not the yoga or aromatherapy that is dangerous, its the meditation that is always pushed along with it. Guns can be used to threaten and kill people, but can also be used to protect yourself. It all depends on the intent of the user. I am a huge proponent of homeopathic remedies INCLUDING essential oils, aromatherapy, yoga, and a vegan diet. They are God's way of improving our quality of life, prevention and cure of disease, and soundness of mind. Let's look at what the Bible has to say about it... Adam and Eve could eat from the tree of life. There was something in that fruit that sustained life eternal, as they were forbidden to eat of it once they had sinned less they became immortal sinners. The Bible clearly states that in the new earth the leaves of the tree of life will be for the healing of the nations. God created us and created this world to support and sustain our lives, even in this sinful condition we're in. So the position that it's wrong to take advantage of the methods of achieving the best quality of life we can is simply another lie from the enemy to rob us of health, vitality, and vigor. Use the tools God provided and you will have the best life you can on this sin filled earth. ~Rusty p.s. I'm also a very good shot with both rifles and pistols... ;)
