It is a blessing that we find out who the person really is before we get caught up emotionally with someone who talks a good line. My dearest friend just discovered, after 4 months of correspondence, that the individual she thought she knew, turned out to be quite unstable. I just heard that she no longer wants a relationship because it means she must compromise her values and let her health suffer so she can take care of someone who is supposed to be an adult. This man was visiting her and kept in almost constant contact with his mother. In fact, when it didn't work, this mans mother stepped in to lay blame when she was not there to know the circumstances. I find this a little immature. I am keeping her in my prayers and hope that should she decide to date again that she will be blessed with a man who is emotionally and psychologically stable and mature, and will treat her with respect and kindness and be a helpmate to her.

Hi you all my brothers and sisters in Christ. First of all I am so greatful for this site because it has given me an opportunity to meet many friends both male and female. I just wanted to point out something as a result of a recent relationship I almost landed myself in. Please let us walk the walk in all aspects. If we say we are christians let us show the world how different we are and let the christian scent be felt everywhere we go. In other words, let us be respectful of each other and honest about our status (are we still married and not telling the truth about it?) The kind of relationship I almost landed myself in, this so called brother was still having deals with his ex-wife; actually still his wife even though he says he is divorced (lier). We actually got to meet after almost 2 months phone conversation and spent some time together and he had actually brought his laptop with him so he could keep up with his numerous girls' romantic conversations( on an hourly basis). Some actually called him on his cellphone and he was not ashamed to have romantic talks with them in my presence (lack of respect) The bottom line is, God is good I caught it before I got emotionally involved, but just to let you know, there are sheep in wolves clothing on this site and other sites so please beware and get to know them well before you go too far.
